Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expects the Parliament to appoint a new head of the Accounting Chamber by the end of the current session.
At the press conference in Vinnytsia on Friday, V.Lytvyn informed that different political forces had already nominated their candidates for this office. Moreover, there are independent nominees. The Head of the Parliament commented on the ongoing consultations on this issue.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that the candidate for the office should be supported by at least 226 People´s Deputies.
